Mac Reinstallation and Enrollment Guide

Read This First!

Before proceeding with the full recovery process, check if you can install the configuration file without restarting:

  • If your Mac is still running, download the NinjaOne .mobileconfig file (attached to the email) to your Desktop.
  • Double-click the file to install it, then restart your computer.
  • You will likely be asked to enter the Admin User password:
    • Username:  pmhadmin
    • Password:   PMH503!!-be-wellness
  • After restarting, check if everything is working.
  • If this resolves your issue, you’re done!

However, if you have already restarted and see a black screen, follow the steps below:


1. Enter macOS Recovery

Since you may not know if your Mac is Apple Silicon or Intel, try these steps in order:

  1. First, try the Apple Silicon method:
    • Turn off the Mac.
    • Hold down the Power button until “Loading startup options” appears.
    • If you see this screen, select Options and click Continue to enter macOS Recovery.
    • If nothing happens, go to step 2.
  2. If step 1 didn’t work, try the Intel method:
    • Turn off the Mac.
    • Turn it back on while holding Command (⌘) + R until you see the Apple logo.
    • This should take you into macOS Recovery.

2. Reinstall macOS

  • In macOS Recovery, select Reinstall macOS and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Install NinjaOne MDM

  • Once setup is complete and the device connects to WiFi, download the NinjaOne .mobileconfig file (provided by IT) to your Desktop.
  • Double-click the file to install it and follow any on-screen prompts.
  • You will likely be asked to enter the Admin User password:
    • Username:  pmhadmin
    • Password:   PMH503!!-be-wellness
Remember if you have any problems, you can do one or both of the following:
1.  Come to the Bora building from 12-4 for IT Support

2.  Contact TeamLogicIT remotely.
