Cole Prophet, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Pronouns: They/Them

I’m Cole Prophet, MS, LPC. I graduated in 2016 from Portland State University with a master’s degree in Marital, Couples, and Family Counseling. My philosophy as a counselor is to treat each client as an individual; I do not think there is a one size fits all solution for everyone. I see my role as a counselor, as someone who guides the client to their end goal. I encourage autonomy in my clients and let them be the experts of their own experiences and healing. I work with both individuals and couples. The populations I specialize in are QTBIPOC, Sex workers, ethical non-monogamists, and those who engage in BDSM/Kink. My modalities are EMDR, CBT, DBT, Attachment theory, Narrative Therapy, And IFS. Regardless of the which modalities I employ, all are trauma informed. In addition to counseling, I also provide supervision to LPC and LMFT candidates. In my personal time, I enjoy culinary arts, comedy, horror movies, reading, spending time with my cats, and being in nature. My Clinical director is Del Knight, PsyD, LPC, LMHC, NCC, CCTP, ACS.
