Lea Hart MA
Doctoral Psychology Extern
Pronouns: She/Her
Hello, Y’all! I am a third-year doctoral student at George Fox University, and along the way, I also received a master’s degree in clinical psychology. I am from the Show-Me state of Missouri and then moved to Arkansas to receive my B.S. in psychology.
Due to the inequity of quality mental healthcare across our country, I pursued this field and find incredible joy in becoming an equipped clinician. During my professional career, I have gained experience working with college student populations, residential trade programs, and community mental health centers. In these roles, I have developed a passion for working with suicidal ideation, depression, identity development, and relational discord.
My therapy style tends to be relational and collaborative. From a culturally and trauma-informed lens, my goal is to increase resilience and create a welcoming environment you want to return to. I believe that sustainable growth occurs when we take a nonjudgmental look at the deeply rooted thoughts, behaviors, and values that drive our lives.
I see clients through the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and receive supervision from Dr. Erica Aten.
