Hello! I believe that every client possesses the potential for healing and self-actualization. I aim to ensure clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to pursue growth at every stage of their life. My approach to therapy is eclectic and trauma-informed, drawing from a variety of theoretical frameworks to best support each client’s unique needs. I integrate narrative therapy, mindfulness techniques, person-centered principles, and strength-based methods to foster healing and personal growth. Recognizing the importance of intersectionality, I ensure my practice is inclusive and attuned to the diverse and interconnected aspects of each client’s identity. By utilizing these diverse approaches, my goal is to provide a collaborative and empathetic environment where clients can heal and feel empowered. I identify as a Mexican-American ciswoman with a desire to make mental health services more accessible to underrepresented communities. I was born and raised in Texas but have lived in Oregon for over 8 years. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Foundations. Then I graduated from Portland State University with a Master’s of Science in Counseling. During my academic journey I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families within school settings.
