Tay Ciambra, MA

Marriage & Family Therapy Associate

Pronouns: They/Them

Hi there! I’m a Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapist Associate. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy and a certificate in Ecotherapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School. As I work towards licensure, I am supervised by Cole Prophet, LPC.

I work from Bowen Family Systems and Existential-Humanistic orientations. This means we’ll look at how your relationships and social context influence who you are as well as how the universal challenges of being human (death, isolation, meaninglessness, and freedom) impact your ability to live authentically. I also use relationships with nature to promote mental and emotional well-being. This can look like us talking through nature-based metaphors or actively engaging with the outdoors to support emotional regulation and connection.

My therapeutic relationships are collaborative, courageous, and challenging. With humor and respect, I will support you as you engage in honest self-reflection, identify possibilities for more authentic living, and make choices that are aligned with who you truly are. I enjoy working with individuals, partners, and families who range in age from tween to elder. I am especially passionate about working with clients who are in the LGBTQIA2S+ community, chosen families, as well as kids and their caregivers.

My areas of previous education, experience, and interest include:

● Gender identity ● Sexuality ● Mood disorders ● Borderline personality disorder ● Medical family therapy ● Ecotherapy
