As a dedicated therapist, my approach to counseling is rooted in fostering a partnership with clients to navigate the complexities of life’s challenges and adventures.
My ability to guide you on this path lays on the foundation of my experience and training. I have had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, spanning children, teens, and adults, across various mental health settings. These include inpatient psychiatric mental health, addiction recovery, psycho-oncology, bereavement, and community mental health.
In our therapeutic relationship, I use an integrated, trauma-informed, and strengths-oriented approach. Drawing inspiration from emotion- and compassion- focused modalities, ACT, and CBT, I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs. My commitment to compassionate care is unwavering, and I strive to create a safe space for individuals of all intersectional identities throughout the lifespan.
Grounded by consent-based frameworks, I actively advocate for inclusivity and respect client autonomy. This commitment ensures that our therapeutic space is inclusive and considerate of all identities, with client consent as the cornerstone of our collaborative work. My dedication to anti-oppression work is an ongoing journey of learning and growth, reflecting my commitment to creating a space where everyone feels seen and heard.
As we embark on this journey together, my goal is to empower you to embrace and accept yourself fully. Through our collaborative efforts, I aim to support you in fostering a deep sense of self-compassion, meaning, and resilience as you navigate this significant chapter in your life.
